Sulwath Brewers

A family owned brewery creating hand crafted real ales made from only natural ingredients.

Named after the ancient name for the Solway Estuary, Sulwath Brewery is all about authenticity and tradition. Located just off the main street of Castle Douglas Food Town, this small family brewery does things right, using only natural ingredients to produce consistently excellent, flavoursome ales with a mellow, rounded character.

Visit the micro brewery and visitor centre and you'll get an insight into the real craft that goes into craft beer. You'll meet the brewer, sample the ales and find out why natural ingredients and soft water are the key to creating the beautifully balanced flavours of these beers.
